Frederic M. Schaefer, Jr. (Tim) has been conducting retained executive searches since 1987 focusing on senior management positions in a wide variety of industries including e-Commerce, technology, manufacturing, not-for-profits, telecommunications and consumer products.

Prior to founding SchaeferPartners, Mr. Schaefer ran the western half of the United States for the StratfordGroup, then the 13th largest search firm in the country. Previously, he was with A.T. Kearney and Korn/Ferry International managing projects in Denver, Chicago and Cleveland.

Mr. Schaefer moved to Colorado in 1984 to manage operations for The Cairn Companies, a national real estate syndication firm. Before moving to Denver, he was President of Schaefer Marine, Inc., a leading manufacturer of sailboat hardware. He also worked in the financial services industry in Boston with Harris Upham and the Shawmut Bank, and was Executive Vice President of The Center for Business Planning in Weston, specializing in strategic planning and growth management.

Mr. Schaefer served on the Board of the Copper Mountain Ski Team and currently serves on the Board of the American Lung Association of Colorado.

Mr. Schaefer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University.
